We will be studying anything from specific books of the Bible, to Theology of the Body, to specific seasons of the liturgical year, or any other topic we find there is an interest in. The appropriateness of this name is twofold: 1) Lux Dei is Latin for “light of God”, and the Transfiguration is the mystery of light par excellence. 2) As we dig deeper, we will learn from what Moses and Elijah represent: the Old Testament law and the prophets. We will also be following God’s commandment to the disciples: to listen to Jesus, as we learn from the New Testament and the Church’s teachings.
